Pole holder at Sepang is the quickest in the final session before the 125cc Shell Advance Malaysian Motorcycle Grand Prix.

Marc Márquez led the 125cc field in the final 20-minute warm up session at Sepang on Sunday, in a time of 2'13.767. The Red Bull Ajo Motorsport rider will start the race from pole position later on Sunday, his tenth of the season, and was the only rider under 2'14" in the warm up.

Following him on the timesheet were the three other rider who will also start from the front row, as Nico Terol (Bancaja Aspar), Bradley Smith (Bancaja Aspar) and Pol Espargaró (Tuenti Racing) were the only riders to get within a second of Márquez.

Completing the top eight were Efrén Vázquez (Tuenti Racing), Sandro Cortese (Avant Mitsubishi Ajo), Randy Krummenacher (Stipa-Molenaar Racing) and Luis Salom (Stipa-Molenaar Racing).

The session was run with an ambient temperature of 30ºC with the track measuring 37ºC.
